Instructor: Ms. Hoffek

Welcome scientists to the 2009-2010 school year! I am Ms. Hoffek and I will be your sixth grade science teacher. This is my 20th year of teaching. I know middle school is a new experience for everyone and I want to make your transition as easy as possible. My class involves teaching process skills through laboratory work, classroom discussions and independent study. Units of study will include simple machines, energy, weather, plants and animals.

I know each and everyone one of you will be successful in my classroom.I look forward to working with you this year.

Students are completing the invertebrate unit. Students will be working on three activities that have to do with invertebrates. Ask your student what activities they have chosen to explore in the invertebrate kingdom.
